Vision

Clean energy, clear air, healthy food, fair working conditions, intact natural habitats, sustainable tourism, affordable housing, an education full of opportunities and climate-friendly industry: all of us want a future that is worth living in. A life that really does us good.

We here at the ‘TUN’ (German for ‘do’) initiative are convinced that a climate-neutral Vorarlberg is possible and that we will all profit from it today, tomorrow and in the days to come – personally and as an entire society, economically and in spirit. As an association of leading business companies, we step up to our responsibility and promote change towards a better future through our commitment, financial strength and business competence.

Mission

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

We want to realise the goals of the Green Deal as a model region by 2030 and are boldly taking the lead. Together we are reducing our emissions, sparing our resources, protecting our living space and creating prosperity, a market advantage and jobs through visionary actions. We are bidding farewell to fossil fuels, investing in renewable energies, encouraging sustainable mobility and biodiversity, building and renovating ecologically and in an energy-efficient manner. We are committed to ensuring that politics creates the general conditions for the decarbonisation of our state.

Less is more: we make savings where they are needed. The future of our energy is climate-neutral and reduced to the essentials. This will be thanks to biomass, biogas and other sources of renewable energy. And because it’s really important, we make sure that our food is from the region and of organic quality, and curb our meat consumption.

Because one thing is clear: if we all pull together now to bring about this change, we will be able to achieve our goals by 2030.

Basis

The EU has developed a strategy to guide it through the climate crisis towards a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy with its European Green Deal. The goal is net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2050. Initiatives such as the New European Bauhaus, the Renovation Wave or the Farm-to-Fork-Strategy combine the objectives of the Green Deal with concrete living spaces and fields of action and link global challenges to local solutions. This is where TUN comes in with the Vorarlberg model region.
